I never get skunked when I fish with Vince on The Eiremar. This footage was shot during two trips in June & July 2011. The Baltimore canyon is roughly 65 mile off the coast of the Indian River inlet, The WIlmington canyon is about 70 mile out. We guessed the White Marlin was 75-80lbs. The 2 Mahi Mahi combined was about 8-10lbs. We caught them at the Baltimore Canyon about 63 miles from the OC Inlet. We saw sharks, more marlin, dolphine and Sea turtels. I think this is my best video so far. All in all it was a great day of fishing. |

Aboard the Depth Charge, Ocean Side, DE, with captain Sandy, first mate Tony and deckhand Tamara. The crew battles the elements, man against ocean beasts, to reel in two yellow fin tuna (largest 43 lb) and three Mahi Mahi near the Baltimore Canyon, approx. 50 nm off the coast. But oh the one that got away--large Mahi Mahi (size unknown... but big!). Passengers/Wannabee Anglers on the fishing exhibition include Scott (Cincinnati, OH) and Susan and Todd(Covington, KY). Bait used: Ballyhoo. |
